Carl “DJ Carl T” Thibodeaux, the Original Midday Memory Man, is a Louisiana-born music innovator with over three decades of experience in radio and club DJing. Hailing from Sunset, Louisiana, he built a powerful legacy in Southwest Louisiana with his signature blend of classic R&B, Southern Soul, and Zydeco earning #1 DJ honors and the respect of a loyal, multi-generational audience.

From hosting iconic shows like the Midday Memory Show and Afternoon Jams to launching his own platform, DownSouthRadio.net, Carl has consistently stayed true to his passion moving and motivating listeners with a timeless sound and authentic style. What began as a personal venture with DownSouthRadio grew into a global connection point, where fans became family.

After more than five years of building his brand, Carl has returned to Delta Media’s Z105.9 FM as Midday Host, bringing his new show, The Midday Workforce with Carl T, to the airwaves. This return is deeply personal driven by his desire to honor the legacy of his mentor, Barry Stephanie Smallwood, who helped shape his journey from the very beginning.
