One of the challenges faced with the COVID-19 Crisis is the difficulty in educating our school-aged children. Some teachers have the resources and technical ability to create online courses and some do not.

AOC (Acadiana Open Channel) is available and ready to help teachers.

AOC has announced that they are offering technical assistance to educators. If you are a teacher and you need help to provide lessons to students, AOC is here for you. AOC will assist in recording and uploading video lessons for students. If the teacher already has videos, AOC will upload it for you, and help share it with students.

AOC has the equipment to record lectures and upload them to YouTube. They can also make the video interactive with the option to allow students to post comments.

AOC will operate the camera, edit the video or audio file, and create the channel for the teacher. There is even an option to create a podcast.

If you are a teacher and you are interested, please contact AOC. Please contact Ed Bowie 337-254-5813 or email [email protected]
