It’s Trail Ride Season in Louisiana and Texas. The real cowboys, cowgirls and supporters of the rides mount up and roll out to enjoy, and celebrate the culture. Zydeco music, good food with good people always makes for a good time.
It’s a trail ride weekend in St Landry parish. I will hanging out with the Eunice Easy Riders. The last scheduled ride hosted by Big 8 was cancelled due to the weather, so the trail ride nation is overdue for a good local ride.
This weekend the Eunice Easy Riders invade the I.F.B.S. Lodge in Leonville, Louisiana. Trail Riding is an important part of our Creole Culture. The Rainbow Trail Ride Association is working hard to keep this important tradition alive. The ride rolls out at noon on Sunday.
During a recent visit to the library, I found a awesome book on Louisiana Trail Riders. It is by Jeremiah Ariaz. For information about Louisiana Trail Riders, visit: www.louisianatrailriders.com Check out the Eunice Easy Riders weekend lineup. It’s going to be fun!
