The 38th annual Festival International lineup was unveiled on Sunday and it’s loaded with a wide variety of artists both new and returning favorites.

Some of the highlights include GRAMMY Award-winning Oumou Sangaré of Mali, who is also an acclaimed activist, will bring her sound to the Festival International.

Another highlight is Vancouver’s own Five Alarm Funk, who will close out the festivities on Saturday night while Hip-Hop collective Nomadic Massive will wrap up the weekend on Sunday.

“Our team is counting down the days until April.” Festival International’s Programming Director, Lisa Stafford said in a press release. “The lineup this year boasts many exciting acts, ranging from Colombian to Canadian, traditional to electronic. There will be something for everyone at Festival 2024.”

Some of the other highlights for 2024’s Festival International include Korean folk group Coreyah, Balaklava Blues hailing from Ukraine, and Zimbabwe’s Mokoomba.
