It’s already May!! Is it too late to try and accomplish a New Year’s resolution? Remember that promise you made to yourself to exercise more and be fit by summer? It’s not too late! If you have been looking for a class to help you get in shape and you are possibly interested in making new friends, look no further! There are some inexpensive exercise classes at the Comeaux Rec Center. The Comeaux Recreation Center is located at 411 West Bluebird Street.
Karen Edwards is the instructor for the Step Aerobics Class. She has been teaching this aerobics class for the last three years. She says the women that attend her class are all ages. Some people bring their children and some people are in their 80s. The class is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 5:45 pm. The first class is free. Edwards says that she knows some people like to see what they are getting into before signing up. It’s a year-round class. The fee is $29.95 a month. As of right now, there are only women that attend, but everyone is welcome.
If you want to find out more about this class and how to sign up call Karen Edwards at 337-278-0641
