Louisiana is now in Phase 1B, Tier 2 of Vaccination

People who are eligible to be vaccinated now include:

Phase 1B, Tier 2

  • All essential workers

Phase 1B, Tier 1

  • Persons 65 and older
  • Ambulatory and outpatient providers and staff
  • Professional home care providers
  • Health related support personnel, students and staff
  • Law enforcement and other first responders
  • K-12 school and daycare personnel
  • Essential governmental response personnel
  • All pregnant persons
  • Individuals 16 and older with a high-risk medical condition

Phase 1A

  • Health care workers
  • Long-term care facilities
  • First responders serving as vaccinators
