The state of Louisiana is slated to receive more than 2 billion dollars from the Army Corps of Engineers. The funds will be earmarked for multiple projects throughout the Bayou State. The supplemental disaster relief bill will fund coastal restoration, hurricane risk reduction, and flood protection.
