The Master P story is coming to the big screen. Percy Miller (Master P) is planning to start filming his life story this summer.
The biopic called “King Of The South” will be shot in New Orleans. Master P says the movie will have that authentic dirty south feel and will show how he rose from living life in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Louisiana, the Calliope Projects, to making it to the Forbes top one hundred list.
Master P changed the southern rap game in the ’90’s, with his label No Limit Records. I remember Master P rolling through my night club: “Shadows”, back in the early ’90s. He was selling cassettes from the truck of his car. Percy “Master P” Miller had hustle then, and now I really gotta put respect on how he worked his tail off to become a successful music mogul. He is proof that it’s not where you start, but where you finish that counts.
CP3 Film Group begins open casting for New Orleans natives/actors on Tuesday, April 4th at 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM in Gretna, Louisiana. Get more on “King Of The South at: http://kosmovie.com/
