Volunteers are needed for a clean-up in Scott organized by Parish Proud. This is a chance for you to help your hometown sparkle. The cleaning event will take place Saturday, May 1, 2021, between 8:00 am and 11:00 am. Volunteers will be cleaning a portion of Highway 90. The group will meet at the Lafayette Library on the Old Spanish Trail.
If you are interested, you will need to sign the Parish Proud waiver. Copies of the waiver will be available on the day of the clean-up. You can also look for the link on Parish Proud’s Facebook page. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, a mask, a hat, and sunscreen. The organization will provide a safety vest, litter grabber, gloves, and, trash bags.
