I love the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J Blige.  She makes you feel her music.  We can identify with her joy her pain and her strength.

Friday, April 28, 2017 Mary will be releasing her 13th album, Strength Of A Woman.   She will also drop a “Making Of” the album documentary.  Check out the trailer that also shows some of the people who worked on the album.  The Making of Strength of a Woman will air on VH1, on Tuesday, May 2 at 10 pm.

Mary J Blige is also hosting a night of black girl magic, Saturday July 1, 2017 at the Essence Festival in New Orleans. For the first time ever, the ESSENCE Festival main stage and super lounges will feature an all-female line up of music  stars who will turn up the night.

Expect performances from Chaka Khan, Jill Scott, Jazmine Sullivan, Monica, Lalah Hathaway, and many more along with, Mary J. Blige it’s gonna be special night at the Essence Festival.
