Lately, it feels like summer! Don’t you just love it? The weather has been warm and dry and people are walking around with sunburns. It’s time to start making plans for summer. So if you are trying to figure out a way to keep your children occupied while school’s out, here are a few summer programs going on in Lafayette.
Registration is coming up the 2019 Summer Enrichment Program put on by Lafayette Consolidated Government. Sign-ups will take place at Girard Park on May 17 and on May 24 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This program is for kids 5 to 14 years old. The fee is $250 for the summer. (June 10 – July 26) The day will start at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. If you have to be at work early, there is an option for parents who need to drop their kids off early. The 7:15 am drop off is $125 extra. Sky Zone Lafayette will be holding Sky Camp all summer from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for kids 6 to 12 years old. It’s $180 a week or $40 a day There is an option to drop off your child early for a $10 fee. Kids will play dodgeball and other games. Find out more: Sky Zone Lafayette – Sky Camp Registration
Kidcam Summer Camps will take place from28th to August 2nd at the Downtown Lafayette First Methodist Church on Lee Ave and in Broussard at the Elevation Station on St Nazaire Road. Drop off is at 9:00 am and pick up is at 3:00 pm. Some of the activities include swimming trips, arts, crafts, cooking, and sports. Kid Cam Camps – Register
ESA Summer Adventure is a camp where kids can engage in the arts, music theater, sports, cooking and more. It’s for all kids and teens. (You can be in a senior high school and still attend.) It cost $100 a week. ESA Summer
