Summer vacations are in full swing.  We are enjoying festivals, trail rides, family reunions and summer fun.  It feels like summer just started, but now is the time to start thinking and preparing yourself and the kids for back to school. 

As a parent, I know how tedious the whole back to school process can be.  My kids will be in the 4th and 5th grades this year.  They are looking forward to attending a new school. 

I am not rushing the end of summer, but the first day of school will be here soon.  Check out this list of  the start dates for the parishes in our area.

Lets face it back to school time is here. It’s the back to school shopping season.  Retail sales this time of year are second only to Christmas.  Parents, I strongly suggest you start shopping now.  There are  great back to school deals now on Amazon, and online sites of  the office supply stores, like Office Depot and Staples.

Shop early for the best deals.  Don’t stop enjoying these last days of summer.  Do your back to school shopping online at the beach and between vacations!
