C.R.E.O.L.E., Inc. (Cultural, Resourceful, Educational Opportunities, and Linguistic Enrichment, Inc.) is celebrating 35 years with the 6th Zydeco Music & Creole Heritage Awards. It is Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Delta Grand Theater in Opelousas, Louisiana.

To cast your vote click this link https://www.creoleinc.net/events/zydeco-creole-heritage-awards-nov-13-2022 and vote in the following awards categories: Creole Hall of Fame Inductee, Living Legends, Clifton Chenier Heritage Award, and Newcomer Artist of the Year. C.R.E.O.L.E. Inc. announce the winners in these categories on the evening of the Awards in addition to an award honoring local Creole farmers.

The theme this year is “Celebrating All Things Creole”. C.R.E.O.L.E. Inc will recognize three (3) other groups in the Acadiana communities, restaurant owners for fine cuisine, zydeco club owners for providing good music and dancing, and the hard-working farmers. These individuals have played a very important role in the development of the Creole culture and history of our communities. For more info call Reverend Paul Cluse at 337 962-7144.
