Staying awake and alert can be a challenge especially if you are sleep-deprived. But according to science, there are certain things you can do to improve your sleep. For one, you can try a sleep schedule, reduce sugar intake and dim the lights when going to bed. You can also attempt to not take a nap close to bedtime. Now if you are doing all the things mentioned above, there is one more trick to help you fall asleep faster.
The most well-known is fall asleep faster method is the military method. First you relax your body from head to toe. Then take in deep long breaths, and visualize a peaceful setting.
