Got a household problem?

Ask Martha Stewart. She has a solution. If you’re looking for a way to get rid of tomato stains in your plastic food storage containers, Martha has the answer.

You’ve likely tried hot water & dish soap to no avail. Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda, a teaspoon of water, and 1/4 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid in the container. Scrub it and let it sit for a minimum of 15 minutes. Scrub it again and rinse. Do it again if needed.

A great way to avoid the problem altogether is to store your tomato sauces in glass or ceramic containers.
