An 18 wheeler struck the I-10 overpass at I-49 Tuesday, December 3rd.

Officials closed I- 10 eastbound at University and I-49 northbound at the overpass. Officials reopened both highways after inspecting the overpass.

Two off ramps remain closed. The ramp from I-10 east to I-49 north remains closed, as well as the ramp from I-49 south to I-10 east.

DOTD informs us the closures are indefinite.
