LHS Student Named Candidate In Presidential Scholars Program

A Lafayette High School senior has been named as a candidate in the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Kerry Pan is president of the Beta Club. He’s in the gifted program. Kerry is also on the soccer and cross-country teams, and a member of the Math Club. He’s a National Merit semifinalist.


The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program honors high school seniors with outstanding character, leadership qualities, and academic achievements. 4500 students are recognized every year. The field will be pared down to 500 semifinalists in Late March.
