Amanda Fontenot fell and broke her neck last year. She’s now a quadriplegic. “Love in Action” is a benefit concert being held for her. The event will be Sunday, July 9th at Shobox. Doors open at noon.
Blue Monday will start the show at 12:30. Wayne Toups takes the stage at 2. There will be door prizes, including a stay at Caldwell Bed & Breakfast in Abbeville, gift cards from Pat’s Downtown, and haircuts from Studio One.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Funds raised will go toward the purchase of a van. Shobox is located at 2431 West Congress in Lafayette.
