In St Landry Parish check out the historic town of Grand Coteau Saturday for the Sweet Dough Pie Festival from 9am-3pm on the grounds of St. Charles Catholic Church.

Eat the day away at The Boudin Cook-Off at Parc Sans Souci Saturday, . Get your fill of some of the best boudin from across Louisiana and and enjoy free music and games. Lez le bon temps roule!
In Baton Rouge the Southern Jaguars are celebrating Homecoming with a host of entertaining activities. Saturday’s homecoming football game between the Jaguars and University of Arkansas Pine Bluff Golden Lions is at A.W. Mumford Stadium. Kick off is at 4 p.m.
