Mardi Gras season has arrived, and there are several parades planned throughout the communities in Acadiana. Here is a schedule:

Saturday, January 31
• Carencro Mardi Gras Parade — Carencro High School to Carencro Community Center (11 AM)

Friday, February 6
• Krewe Des Canailles Walking Parade – Downtown Lafayette (7:00 PM)

Saturday, February 7
• Cankton Courir de Mardi Gras — Cankton (Early Morning)
• Scott Mardi Gras Parade – City of Scott (11:00 AM)
• Krewe of Ezana Parade – Downtown Jeanerette (1 PM)
• Krewe of Carnivale en Rio Parade – Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field (6:30 PM)

Friday, February 13
• Krewe of Allons Kick-Off Parade – Lafayette (6:30 PM)

Saturday, February 14
• Lafayette Children’s Parade – Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field (12:30 PM)
• Krewe of Bonaparte Parade – Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field (6:30 PM)

Sunday, February 15
• Church Point Courir de Mardi Gras (Early Morning to Early Afternoon)
• Grand Marais Mardi Gras Parade – Downtown Jeanerette (1 PM)

Monday, February 16
• Queen Evangeline’s Parade – Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field (6:00 PM)

Tuesday, February 17 (FAT TUESDAY)
• Eunice Traditional Courir de Mardi Gras & Chicken Run – Eunice (Early Morning)
• Mamou Courir de Mardi Gras – Mamou (Early Morning)
• Krewe Chic A La Pie Parade — Kaplan (TBA)
• Carnival D’Acadie — Crowley — Main Street (10 AM)
• King Gabriel’s Parade – Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field (10:00 AM)
• Opelousas Imperial Mardi Gras Parade – Downtown Opelousas (11 AM)
• Lafayette Mardi Gras Festival Parade – Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field (1 PM)
• Independent Parade – Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field (2:30 PM)
