A living legend, Diana Ross will grace the main stage at the opening night of the Essence festival.  I have loved Diana Ross for what seems like forever.  She was a goddess of grace and style, as a member of the Supremes.  Diana Ross & The Supremes  set the bar and paved the way for all the girl groups today.
