Lafayette police need your help solving this crime.  If you know something say something. 

On Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 2:14 p.m. Lafayette Police responded to a stabbing in the 400 block of Sampson Street. When officers arrived they found a man suffering from stab wounds. The 49 year old  victim was involved in an altercation with another man, who has not been identified. During the altercation the victim was stabbed multiple times in the upper torso.  He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are working to identify the other man involved.  Anyone with information on this stabbing or has information on the whereabouts of the suspect in this stabbing is encouraged to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
