So in late July I talked about a guy from New York who tried to steal 26 containers of laundry detergent by stuffing them into a big black bag. The detergent he tried to steal was valued at $200 worth. Fortunately, the guy got arrested!

 

However we have a similar case that took place this month of August, in Massachusetts. This one happened in a person’s home. The New Bedford Police had received a call about a homeowner coming home to find $250 worth of detergent missing from their home and nothing else.

 

At first I was a little thrown off about this whole thing until I read further. Lt. Amos Melo of the New Bedford Police department, said that while detergent seems to be the unlikely target for theft, it is often sold on the street for drugs!

Unfortunately, that makes sense!!!  SMH
