Covid-19 is dangerous, and it has quickly changed the way we live in Louisiana. It’s our new reality: social distancing, self isolation, quarantine, life on lockdown, stay at home mandate, whatever you call it, life has changed. We are following the state order to remain inside our homes to stay safe and prevent the spread of Covid-19. I am working from home. I thought it would be great. It’s a whole new challenge. I have two kids, they want me to entertain them, help with homework, prepare three meals a day, all while workingfrom home. Like many single moms, I am tired, stressed, worried about when it’s going to be over, and staying safe. It gets a little easier everyday. I miss the routine of leaving home and the booming speakers in the studio.
My friends who do not have young kids, are sharing that they are bored and are already running out of things to do. My reply: Really? What can you do to pass the time? I’ve come up with a list of 105 suggestions to help make your mandatory vacation, as positive and productive as possible. Here’s a list of what to do while living life on lockdown. #wtd
