So in 2014, I first heard of a possible birth control injection for men, Vasalgel. It’s basically a gel that’s injected into the man that stops the could-be babies from making it to the could-be mommy. Got it? 😉 The goal is for this to be an alternative to vasectomy as soon as possible, with the first clinical trial beginning this year, 2016. The product is 96% effective and like any product going in your body, there are of course side effects. Some of them include depression and muscle pain. So now, after a full 6 months of testing this product on men, the research has come to a halt because men cannot handle the side effects!! WHAT??! Women go through every month regularly and I’m sure most have experienced some form on depression, regardless how minor, surely due a man at one point in their life. I need these men to stop being crybabies and take one for team! GET OVER IT!! Suck it up! Drop a tear or two but take your shot. And everyone can resume normal activity safely and responsibly:)
