This was suppose to be a break out season for the Pelicans, after getting the first pick in last years draft, which turned out to be Duke Superstar Zion Williamson, making the playoff’s was a forgone conclusion. Then bad luck met the pandemic and the rest was history. The Pelicans were officially eliminated from the NBA post season after a season ending loss to the San Antonio Spurs. nobody knows what the NBA season will look like next year but it can’t look as bad as this year has looked. The good news is the Pelicans should get a fairly high pick in next years NBA draft , Zion can stay healthy and hopefully a vaccine will be available so we can get back to a “Regular” regular NBA season. FYI- my team, the Lakers-are accepting all Pelican fans aboard our band wagon!
