The Lafayette Martin Luther King Jr. Committee is currently accepting applications from individuals and groups interested in participating in the annual MLK parade set to roll Sunday, January 15 at 3 pm.
To participate pick up an application and present proof of insurance for your vehicle at the Lafayette Central Fire Station, at 300 Vermilion Street. There is no entry fee, but pre-registration is required. Call 291-8704 for more information.
The parade will start at the King center at 309 Cora Street in Lafayette and will roll down MLK Memorial Parkway (Willow Street) and end at the Clifton Chenier Center/Philadelphia Church.
