NHS Coming of Age Seminar

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to inspire, encourage and speak to students attending my alma mater, Northside High School. It was their annual “Coming of Age” Seminar in which they select former graduates of NHS based on our bios, hear us speak at the general assembly about our tenure at Northside High as well as the path taken to where we are now. Of course, we had to discuss our Coming of Age moment. Afterwards, we sent to different classrooms in which a small group of students interviewed us and they will write a paper based on the interview and nature of what we discussed with them. The project is worth a whopping 200 points for them, so they definitely took it seriously!

I was humbled and honored to be asked to participate in this awesome, inspiring event. The chance to hopefully be able to give someone’s  child hope and a push to continue on the positive path they’ve set upon in unexplainable. I can’t wait to continue on this journey of servitude in my community, to represent for myself, my family and of course, Z105.9 🙂
