The Department of Transportation and Development will close a stretch of Pinhook road this weekend. The affected area will be between La Rue France and Morjorie Boulevard. This will be in effect Sunday, May 19th from  6 to 8 am. The closure is to allow routine maintenance on the Pinhook Bridge. Detour route will be Pinhook, Kaliste Saloom , the Evangeline Thruway and University.
