The three law-enforcement officers killed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, are Montrell Jackson, Brad Garafola and Matthew Gerald. These brave men lost their lives in the line of duty. They were victims of hate. May they rest in peace. Remember their families in your prayers.
My heart is heavy. How can hate consume a heart so deep that someone would take innocent lives. All lives matter. I am trying to make sense of it all. What can I do? I can I affect change in my life, in my community? I believe Spiritually we are all one family. We are one race, the human race. I pray that we will learn to accept each other as brothers and sisters and work to understand each other. Violence is not the answer.
Please don’t let hate live in your heart Only love and understanding can conquer hate. I send out prayers to all directly and and indirectly affected by this tragedy and violence here in Louisiana, across the United States and all over the world. [email protected]
