Things are finally getting back to normal. Restrictions that were put in place when the pandemic took, over the world are finally easing up. Now you can finally pay visit to a veteran.
The ban on visiting veteran homes in Louisiana has been lifted. There will some rules to follow when entering these facilities. Masks will be required and every visitor will be screened. Each guest will be asked a list of questions, hand sanitizers will be available and temperature checks will also be conducted.
The veteran homes that are open for visits include Monroe, Bossier City, Reserve, and Jennings.
Visitations will only be allowed as long as no one in the facility tests positive for two weeks. For the first month, visits will take place outside. No one under 14 will be permitted. Visitors will be required to set up an appointment before arrival. Reservations will be taken Monday through Friday from 9 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 4 pm.
