Hold the Beef? Burger King is testing out a meatless Whopper at their restaurants in the St. Louis area. The new meatless burger is a partnership with the startup company Impossible Foods. They supply the faux beef patties made with heme. Heme is a protein made from soybean roots that look and taste like meat.
If the testing in St. Louis goes well, the company will make the Impossible Whopper available in all its locations. I can’t wait to try it. The whopper is my favorite burger.
