The 16th annual African American History Parade is set to roll out at 2 pm Sunday March 17. The 2019 theme is “Let Freedom Ring”.
The parade will be start at J.Wallace James Elementary School at 1500 West Willow Street and will roll to Super 1 Foods 215 West Willow Street in Lafayette.

The African American History Gala is Saturday March 9 7 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, multi-purpose center.
