The bread store on Moss Street is closed. In the last couple of years, a number of business have closed on the Northside: on or near Moss Street. Winn Dixie, Sonic, 2 Family Dollar Stores, Stage, Wal-Mart and now the Bread bakery outlet are closed.
Customers are being redirected to the store at 821 Cameron Street in Lafayette. There is also a location at 233 Rue De Belier, in Lafayette.
I will shop at the other locations, but this one really hurt, my feelings. I like the convenience of shopping at the businesses near my home. Shopping and saving money in your neighborhood is the best. I believe it is also important to support local businesses.
Now, I am watching and wondering, who’s next?
