January is Cervical Health Awareness Month. Plan to attend the free Cervical Health Symposium this Saturday in Lafayette. It is going to be a day of inspiration, education, self-awareness, tips on healthy living, shopping and personal development. Vendors will showcase their products and healthcare providers will answer questions during intermission. Lunch will be provided and door prizes drawn.
It is a great event to promote awareness for cervical and breast health in an effort to reach those in need. Doors open at 9:00 am. Plan to attend especially if you have a family history of Cervical and Breast Cancer.
