February is Black History Month. Z1059 and Home Bank honor, and celebrate the people who helped shape the history of America.

Every year the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) selects a theme for Black History Month. This year’s theme, is “Black Resistance“, it recognizes African Americans’ resistance to historic oppression in pursuit of self-determination and equality.

Black History Month is the time to remember and recognize the struggle for civil rights, human rights, for freedom and equality.
