One of the best things about where I live is: It’s officially festival season here in Louisiana. We celebrate everything from Boudin to Zydeco. This weekend it’s Strawberries. The 48th Annual Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival is April 12-14 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The Strawberry Festival is one of the largest free festivals in the state.
Celebrate a delicious, fun-filled weekend of family entertainment. Enjoy a parade, food and crafts booths, carnival rides, and non-stop entertainment, and fresh, sweet Louisiana Strawberries.
I am going to surprise my kids with at trip to Ponchatoula. I know my 8 year old daughter is going to love it, because she is crazy about Strawberries. I was told this festival is the place to get the freshest, most affordable, sweetest strawberries in the state. Maybe we will see you there.
