I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus is officially closing down after 146 years of entertaining. A year ago, animal activists protested the use of circus animals, namely elephants. The circus finally decided to stop using elephants in their show and their show sells also began to decline. I mean, who wants to see a circus without elephants, right? This drastic decline along with the high cost to operate and run the circus, became to much of a burden for the family. You can catch the last of the circus performances this May, in Rhode Island and New York.
