Singer-songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, record producer, film producer, entrepreneur Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds has worked with and written hits for Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, The Deele, Az Yet, Manchild, TLC, After 7, Jon B., Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, and Boyz II Men. He has too many hits and too many awards to name. He is a living legend.
Babyface told me, “You ask hard questions” that left me smiling all day. I had the pleasure of interviewing Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds recently on the @work network on Z105.9. He is performing at the Essence Festival Friday July 1 in New Orleans. Highlights from our conversation: He starts his day with a green drink/smoothie with kale, celery, apples and more veggies. X-men was the last movie and he saw and he ate popcorn and raisinets. Just like us he enjoys going to the movies. He says he just finished working with After 7 on their new album. Babyface also told me he has plans to possibly release more new music before the end of the year!
