Had she lived, Whitney Houston would be 52 years young today. It still makes me sad that she is gone. But we will always have her music.
I remember buying her debut album: Whitney. I love all the songs on that album, but if I had to pick favorite songs it would have to be her version of ” The Greatest Love Of All” , and “You Give Good Love”.
Whitney the actress also starred in some of my favorite movies. Waiting To Exhale, The Preacher’s Wife, and The Bodyguard. For a long time, I wanted to be kissed like Kevin Costner kissed Whitney Houston in the Bodyguard. It was hot! IKR?
On February 11, 2012 Houston was found dead in her bathroom at the Beverly Hills Hilton. The cause of death was found to be accidental drowning caused by heart disease and cocaine use. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten Happy Birthday Whitney Houston.
